All You Need to Know
This term will be working on a story called ‘Kita Semua Berbeda- We are all different’. In this story, students will revise family members including pets.
Students will be introduced to the language to discuss personal qualities, appearance, personal preference on weather and revision on stating their interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes both in and outside of school.
Students this term will be looking at a story called ‘Sudah mandi.’ This story has been designed for students to become familiar with the very common target structures of sudah (already) and belum (not yet) in Indonesian. Other target structures will include pronouns (dia, kami, mereka) and time markers (dulu, sekarang, nanti).
This story revises family vocabulary from term 1, as well as exploring the cultural concepts of the warung and mandi (both terms that have no direct translation in English).
